Angle, which finished second at the 1997 and 1998 USAV Adult
National Volleyball Championship

Camp #1 –All Skills Camp
July 6, 7 & 8 (Wednesday - Friday)
Cost: $175 Commuter, $225 Resident (Dorm & Meals)
Camp schedule: July 6 -1:00-3:30 p.m. /5:30 p.m. -8:00 p.m.
July 7 -9:00-11:30 a.m. /1:00-3:30 p.m. /5:30-8:00 p.m.
July 8 -9:00-11:30 a.m. /1:00-3:30 p.m.
For players entering 7th-12th grade in the Fall of 2005.
All Skills Camp will give players a strong background in the fundamentals
of volleyball. Registration: Resident -12:00 noon Wednesday at the
Grizzly House.
Commuter – 12:30 p.m., Wednesday at the West Plains Civic
Center.
All campers receive a camp T-Shirt.
Camp #2 –Setters Day Camp
July 11 (Monday)
Cost: $60
Camp schedule: 9:30-12:00 noon /1:30-4:30 p.m.
For setters at all levels of play in grades 5-12. This is a great
camp for beginners as well as the advanced setter. All aspects of
setting will be covered. We will start with the technical aspects
of the position, teach play sets, and cover how to run an offense.
Registration: 9:00 a.m. at West Plains Civic Center
All campers receive a T-Shirt.
Camp #4 –Team Competition Camp
July 15 & 16 (Friday and Saturday)
Cost: $225 per team
Camp schedule: July 15 -1:00 p.m. Competition begins
July 16 – Competition continues
This camp is open to both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams (separate
divisions).
Minimum of 6 full matches guaranteed.
Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in both divisions will be given
(1st place –Tachikara Ball Cart, 2nd place –official
MSHAA game ball).
Registration: 12:00 noon on Friday at the West Plains Civic Center.
Coaches must have signed releases on all players at this time.
Camp #5 –Attacker/ Setter /Defensive Specialist Camp
July 17, 18, 19 & 20 (Sunday – Wednesday)
Cost: $210 Commuter, $250 Resident (Dorm and Meals)
Camp schedule: July 17 -1:00-4:00 p.m./ 6:00-8:30 p.m.
July 18 &19 -9:00-11:30 a.m. /1:00-4:00 p.m. /6:00-8:30 p.m.
July 20 -9:00-11:30 a.m. /1:00-4:00 p.m.
For High School age players as well as college freshmen. This camp
is designed to help each player develop in the position of their
choice. Defensive and offensive strategies will be taught as well.
Registration: Resident -12:00 noon, Sunday at the Grizzly House
Commuter -12:30 p.m., Sunday at the West Plains Civic Center
All campers receive a camp T-shirt.
Camp #6 –Elementary Day Camp
July 21& 22 (Thursday and Friday)
Cost: $60, $75 with lunch provided
Camp schedule: 9:00-11:30 a.m. /Lunch Break /11:30-1:00 p.m. /1:00
p.m.-3:00 p.m.
For players entering 3rd-6th grade in fall of 2005.
Fundamentals and fun will be stressed.
Lightweight Volley-lite volleyballs will be used for 3rd and 4th
graders.
Registration: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the West Plains Civic Center
All campers receive a camp T-Shirt.
Camp #7 –Camp at Your Place
We are available for mini camps at your gym. Call the SMSU-WP Volleyball
Office at 417-255-7950 for details. Ask for Trish or Paula.
Coaches Clinic
August 13 (Saturday)
Cost: $50 Pre-Registration, $65 On-Site Registration.
Camp schedule: 8:30 a.m. –Check-In and On-Site registration
9:00 -11:45 a.m. –Clinic “Teaching the Skills of Volleyball”
11:45-1:00 p.m. –Lunch Break
1:00-3:00 p.m. –Clinic “Blocking Strategies, Defensive
Strategies –finding ways to be successful with Rally Scores”
3:00-4:00 –Drills to meet your needs (Send in any requests
you have for drills on techniques or teaching game strategies, etc.)
GENERAL INFORMATION
Where: All camp sessions will be held at the West Plains Civic Center.
Ratio: The ratio of campers to coach will not exceed a 12 to 1 ratio.
Equipment: All equipment for camp will be supplied by the Grizzly
Volleyball Camps except for personal clothing. All campers should
bring comfortable gym clothing and court shoes. Extra socks are
suggested.
Volleyball Apparel: Volleyball apparel will be sold throughout all
camps.
T-Shirts: Each camper will receive a Grizzly Volleyball Camp T-Shirt.
How to Register: Complete the attached registration form and mail
it along with the full camp fee or a deposit of half the total camp
cost.
Make all checks payable to Grizzly Volleyball Camps. All registration
forms are due by June 15, 2004. Space is limited. Camp will be filled
on a first-come, first-served basis.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be made if requested a minimum
of two weeks before the start date of camp.
Camp Confirmation: After application and check are received, each
camper will be sent a map and camp confirmation. A signed release
form is required at registration.
Dorm Campers: Bring bedding and towels.
Awards: Awards will be given at the end of each camp.
